***Monarch: Legacy of Monsters*** landed its second season with its hallmark Titan/Kaiju, character and wild, timey-wimey science beats.

How it manages to be all at once one of the most grounded but scientifically wild offerings in not only the *Monsterverse* continuity, but also the broader history of the Toho *Godzilla* franchise, is a continuing wonder.

The show continues to rank very highly globally on AppleTV everywhere but the CANZUK countries and Ireland. If you haven’t given it a try, I strongly recommend.

A 2013 episode of Community (TV 2009–2015) featured British comedian Matt Lucas, who had a line denigrating people who watch competitive cooking shows. Seven years later, in real life, Matt Lucas became host of arguably the most famous competitive cooking show in existence.

The same episode featured references to that one period where there was a female Inspector Spacetime—a TV character who traveled through time and space (though never simultaneously) in a red British phone box, a full five years before our world had a female Doctor Who.
