Timewasting Fee Update: December 2025

With effect from 01/12/2025 the fee for wasting the time of Court Guinness will be set to £50,000 per hour per instance or part thereof with the exception of United Kingdom Police Officers, the fee for time wasting by United Kingdom Police Officers will rise to £100,000 per hour per instance or part thereof

Remember this is billable to the individual or in the case of a company to the individual employee or individuals at their home address or addresses.

Reading and responding to an email for example in the same hour is two (2) instances and the £50,000 or £100,000 bill will go to each recipient at their home. In the case of a police officer a Chief Officer may be chosen by Court Guinness to bear the bill instead.

All invoices that are not paid within 7 days are passed to a debt collection team to enforce. Enforcement can include personal bankruptcy.

Interest accrues from day 7 of late payment.

Interest charges and other additional charges are updated on a regular basis and the latest interest rates can be found on this site.

I seem to be spending an increasing amount of my time running updates on various computers and devices.

All kinds of devices, several operating systems, varying vintages. All of them still in use to some degree. And all in endless update loops.

Even a video call I was on today got interrupted by a system update. 😠
