S06E12 - Nevis Island, West Indies (Part One) Searching in dense jungle for the remains of an old sugar plantation, the #TimeTeam are mostly drinking water to keep themselves hydrated, but there’s a hint of beer to be had at the 37m 00s mark, and a white rum ration for the diggers at 45m 14s.
S06E11 - Amendment Sorry folks. My meds kicked in while I was posting my #TimeTeam update last night, and I missed this - there is mead at 30m 17s, complete with a horn that’s almost as tall as Tony.
Also quite possibly the first outing for John Blair in this #TimeTeam episode as well. As chance would have it, I just finished his book on vampire epidemics not so long ago.
S0611 - Bawsey, Norfolk Working in the shadow of the jagged ruins of a spooky looking old Norman church, the #TimeTeam crew find neither pub nor drink, so bust at 47m 9s. They’re forgiven though, because they do find @[email protected] who’s a national treasure in herself. Her debute, I think?
S06E10 - Kemerton, Worcestershire Tony returns to his #Blackadder roots, “trampling baby turnips,” and praise be, at 29m 04s we get beer to wash then down with, and a local (albeit unnamed) pub in which to drink it! Just when we were starting to think that S6 of #TimeTeam was going to remain dry!
S06E09 - Turkdean, Gloucestershire The #TimeTeam revisit Turkdean, where they failed to find a pub in Season 5. They fail just as spectacularly once again, only this time it’s via conversations about leather knickers and barbecued balls. Tony does sacrifice red wine to Fortuna at 46m 32s though.
S06E08 - Reedham, Norfolk Water, water everywhere, but not a drop to drink. The #TimeTeam go searching for a downed WW2 bomber in the marshes of Norfolk, with nary an officer’s mess nor yet a pint pot in sight for the whole 47m 00s of the episode.
S06E07 - Beaufort Park, Sussex The #TimeTeam spend 47m 00s on a golf course looking for Roman remains, but never make it to the 19th hole. Unbelievable. Tony might be enjoying his polystyrene cup of tea, but I’m onboard with Mick’s facial expression, which says Tony could be wearing his shortly.
I’m amazed to have just discovered that #TimeTeam Phil is, and has been for ten years, the Deputy Lieutenant to the Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire. Surely this means there *must* be pictures of him out there, decked out in ceremonial gear, hat and all! The search is on! m.youtube.com/watch?v=Izl1...

S06E06 - Smallhythe, Kent A nautical-themed episode, set ten miles from the sea, in which the #TimeTeam search for the remains of Henry V’s royal shipyard at Smallhythe. They’re all at sea when it comes to finding a pub though, ancient or modern; all we get is wine in a field at the 30m 5s mark.
