#WordWeavers July 19: Do you use humor in your stories, and if so, what sort of humor (whimsical, sarcastic, satirical, etc.)?
I do, lots of word play, JP puns, and tongue-in-cheek humor. Also lots of humorous drabble.

“Of all God’s creations, the rainbow is among the most wondrous,” said Watson, “but I never expected to hear you marvel at one.”
“The refraction of light through water droplets is scientifically interesting,” Holmes replied, “and while rare triple arches are not unheard of. But that’s not what I meant. Look there, note the shepherd in the well-worn light-green slouch hat. Oxford man. Theology, if I’m not mistaken. Dropped out in his third year to marry a local girl he met on holiday. A truly unexpected sight on Dartmoor.”

# Washday Gremlin ## #wss366 07/18 The gremlin sat counting socks, almost a baker’s dozen. There was the unicorn one, three dull white ones, Jenny’s heavy black hiking sock. She stroked the **#wash**ed-out tie-dye sock the kids had made for Father’s Day. It was **wash**day, and she had her eye on the strawberry print ones. She hoped her next assignment was as fun. Blue screens and randomly moving files were boring. Loosening bolts on airplanes could be fun. There were openings at SpaceX; they were on a hiring binge. That was a **wash**. Rockets were interesting, programming not so much. But eating soaks was her fav. #MicroFiction #TootFic #nmv366 #NMPrompts #Drabble #Yokai
