Der Star ist die Stadt. Kann mann oder frau den Brit*inn*en neokolonialen Blick zum Vorwurf machen? Vermutlich den meisten nicht, was können sie dafür? Aber feststellen darf mann oder frau ihn durchaus. “Der Chinese”, ist der nicht irgendwie rätselhaft? Das wird doch hierzulande ganz ähnlich gesehen, Nichtwissen, Ahnungslosigkeit auf diese Weise als vorgebliches Wissen verkleidet. Immerhin spart “Strangers” auch nicht mit kritischen Blicken auf die postkoloniale Politik britischer Botschaften, Konsulate und Diplomat*inn*en. Sehr gut ansehbar also. (ARD, Wh.)
