DETROIT LAKES — Alex Imgrund shot a two-day 146 to lead the Brainerd Warriors to third place in the Central Lakes Conference Championship that concluded Thursday, May 22, at Detroit Lakes Golf Club.Imgrund followed his opening-round 71 with a 4-over 75 for his 3-over 146. The Brainerd sophomore posted two birdies to counter six bogeys for his round of 75. Tyler Lehmann placed 10th with a two-day 155. When it became apparent that Steve Caporizzo and Russ Murley were no longer forecasting weather on WTSA - let go, I would guess, since they were both gone at the same time - I promptly resigned my position as a WTSA listener (1970-2025). Best of luck to Tim Johnson, Ian Kelly, and Dan Taylor. Maybe they can carry the station; but they are going to do it, if they do, with at least one less listener. For a very long time, WTSA has been offering less and less reason to tune in. For me, the rundown of its weather forecasting was the last straw.
