(For some reason, the funniest part to me is 'the teacher's eyes narrowed further'. The narrator had not previously said anything about the teacher's eyes. But adding the word 'further' inflects the whole conversation retroactively.)

Finished Terry Pratchett's A Hat Full of Sky (pub 2004)

It's a very enjoyable read. Goes very well with Celtic music.

The series is a very welcome change of pace and makes a wonderful escape from the current chaos.
