Saturday lunch with one of the kids is a bit of a ride across town (it's Canberra, so really it's nothing).

The ride home was one of those, "I don't need to be home yet, let's turn left and take the long way back". It was out to Urriara Crossing and around the back of Canberra to the dam and turn right and enjoy the Paddy's River Road home.

Normally I'm riding this road in the opposite direction so wouldn't get to see this sight of the tracking station dish through the landscape.

Definitely worth the U Turn to get the shot. :)

Went for a lovely bush walk

Canberra's lovely for short or long rides and I took full advantage of the cool, spring weather to rebuild some resilience for >100km rides.

Last weekend was north on some unfamiliar roads towards Murrumbateman and yesterday was south, on a more familiar route, to Tidbinbilla.

The rides were mostly sealed roads with a little gravel to reach some alternative or less accessible spots.
