@GottaLaff I hope it doesn’t come to that b/c then it will be a #USA #TiananmenSquareMassacre. This is probably exactly what #donald wants, blood running in the streets.

Never forget Tiananmen. The Chinese Communist Party must pay for these atrocities!

36 years after Tiananmen Square Massacre, we must not forget the bravery of the "Tank Man" or the violent nature of the Chinese Communist Party’s rule.
In this op-ed, Benedict Rogers of Fortify Rights calls for governments around the world to stand with the people of #China resisting the regime. #TiananmenSquareMassacre https://www.ucanews.com/news/i-stand-with-tiananmen-squares-tank-man/109211

Ett automatgevär går til anfall mot en penna
En handgranat spränger en berättelse i småbitar
De skjutna orden flyger som vassvippor i luften
I floden flyter blodiga meningar
Ett krig utan motstånd blir till en jakt
Jag är en hare som fastnade i den stora rävsaxen
Genom järngallret syns en ömklig framtand
Å, den andra har de redan slagit ut

On #ThisDayInHistory in 1989, to avoid embarrassment during a Soviet visit, the Chinese government ended a multi-month pro-democracy protest in the #TiananmenSquareMassacre. Soldiers met student taunts & rocks with live fire, using expanding bullets, with ~2700 civilians killed.
1989 Beijing, Tiananmen square. In the night from 3 to 4 June soldiers entered the square and opened fire. People were shot or crushed by military vehicles. No one knows how many people died that night. Later on thousands were detained, tortured, imprisoned or executed after unfair trials charged with ‘counter-revolutionary’ crimes. (amnesty.org).

On the night of June 3-4, 1989, the Chinese Army was ordered to disperse protests that had lasted almost seven weeks in Beijing's Tiananmen Square.

On July 4, 1989, the killing of students occurred in Tiananmenn Square when the Chinese government ordered the People's Army to recover, at all costs, the square that has been taken over for seven weeks by idealist students calling for democratic reform.

When the army arrives at the square, nearly a million people fill the huge esplanade blocking their entry, which raises tension and causes the army to launch the repression of blood and fire with tanks crushing everything that stands in its path.

By the evening of that somber day the dead will be counted by the hundreds and the arrested by the thousands.

36 years ago the CCP used tanks to put down a student protest and has been lying about it ever since.
Troops drawn from the regions with no connections with the people of Beijing were bought in to do the killing.
