#Thurstaston to #Heswall Banks Rd and back via Wirral Way again. Not too promising initially and quite chilly. Lots of folk running which was good to see. Coffee at YOT (closed Tuesday 23rd - Friday 2nd).

Walked from #Thurstaston to YOT. Pleased to see the new path now usable. OTOH will be interesting to see how the clifftop path holds up over autumn and winter. Sky overcast but a good light for watching the ducks and waders.

Pleasant walk along the #KC3P at #Thurstaston. Large numbers of egrets in the estuary and in their tree roost. Tinkers Dell has acquired a memorial bench with a splendid view.
Thor’s Stone or Rock at #Thurstaston this morning. Returned to Royden hoping for some shelter in the event of rain (which largely failed to materialize). The supposed Viking association apparently dates to Liverpool architect and historian JA Picton in Victorian times.
