4/5: Another lovely adventure by our favorite murder-solving old-timers. To start with some small criticism: it didn't grab me immediately this time around, to be honest. It took me until about the half-way point before I got really invested, and some solutions to the mysteries were not that great. That's mainly why I knocked a star off this time around after giving the last three entries the full score. But this is still about Elizabeth, Joyce, Ron and Ibrahim and I just love spending time with them. There are also a couple of new characters that I really enjoyed, while some others get sideli...
Finally watched the Thursday Murder Club. Had been looking forward to it, Stellar cast...pity the film is pish. Just seems to be something 'off' about it for me the whole way through, can't put a finger on it. None of the (presumable) humour lands.
Have you seen #ThursdayMurderClub? I watched it about a week ago at my friend's house. I hope there is gonna be more films/series like that.
Considering there's already 5 books in the series, I really hope they will make more. I haven't read the books (I only learnt about them when Netflix released the film), but I think I'm going to check my local library to see if they've got them (I still wish they've got more murder mysteries. It seems to me they've got more books on true crime than murder mystery fiction)
I had so many thoughts on the film while watching it and immediately after, I need to start writing down these things before I forget.
