Last night the family and I headed to #Thurmont, #Maryland to try the new Uncle Dirty's Brew Works Chocolate Salty Caramel pastry stout. The salt is very prominent on this one. The chocolate and caramel are subtle. It wasn't overly sweet like some pastry stouts. Overall it was pleasantly smooth and enjoyable. #ItsAlwaysStoutSeason @beersofmastodon

When in #Thurmont, #Maryland you get an Uncle Dirty's stout! Today my wife and I headed to Catoctin Colorfest. After we left the festival we headed to Bollinger's Restaurant for a late lunch. I got the pit turkey sandwich, she got the brisket and cheddar. I also got a pour of The Great 8, the Uncle Dirty's Brew Works Russian Imperial Stout. At 12% it quickly warmed me up on this dreary as hell day, and was so incredibly smooth for the style. #ItsAlwaysStoutSeason @beersofmastodon

Yesterday we went to Bollinger's Restaurant in #Thurmont, #Maryland to try #UncleDirtysBrewWorks Canadian Smoke, a 9.1% ABV smoked rye porter. I just love this spot. This beer was delicious, as was the food. I got myself a baked potato with bacon and pit turkey (Maryland style BBQ). @beersofmastodon
