With design, art, and writing by Elizabeth LaPensée, programming by Adrian Cheater and Aubrey Jane Scott, and music and sound effects by NÀHGĄ a.k.a. Casey Koyczan.
Quickly following its release, Thunderbird Strike was accused of "promoting eco-terrorism" by oil lobbyists and a senator who had not actually played the game. This sparked a media frenzy that drew attention to issues regarding freedom of speech, games as art, and Indigenous sovereignty.
