Pulviss: Monday Mutant 31 just Released!

Don’t become the unwilling subscriber and rope-bound follower of this hulking mutie!

The Pulviss gets its name from the word ‘pulverize’. This apt name serves it well for both its brutal, multiple close-in attacks, as well as its bizarre need to dominate, demoralize and crush the willpower and self respect of those that it collects.

This collector of unwilling playthings, pets, and bait humans includes a 1d8 random mutation table, 2d12 table of possible humanoid thrall captives to rescue, along with a 3d6 table of collectibles that the beast carries as loot, or barter items when in the mood to trade for luxuries.

Regardez No other land, de Basel #Adra et Yuval #Abraham, lisez Une journée dans la vie d’Abed Salama / A day in the life of Abed Salama de Nathan #Thrall, ou lisez cet article dans +972 magazine, tout concorde :
“ In Jabal Al-Mukaber, Mashahra’s neighborhood, plans are underway to double the population of Nof Zion, a #Jewish settlement currently home to 90 families. Last year, the #Jerusalem Municipality allocated NIS 2 million ($550,000) to build a sports field for the settlement, while 34 #Palestinian homes in the neighborhood were demolished. This year, authorities approved the further #expansion of Nof #Zion into the surrounding Palestinian neighborhoods, adding more housing units and a municipality-funded school.

One prominent resident of Nof Zion is pro-settler activist Henanel #Garfinkel. In late 2024, he was appointed head of the Custodian of Absentee Property department — a powerful body within the Israeli Finance Ministry tasked with overseeing Palestinian properties in East Jerusalem. Garfinkel previously facilitated the sale of land in the Silwan neighborhood to pro-settler groups and has claimed that East Jerusalem is under “Arab #occupation.”

“When we think we reached a bottom, we keep getting worse,” said Kronish. With the war as a pretext, “all of the arms of the state came to work together” to advance its aims in #East Jerusalem.

The Jerusalem Municipality told +972 it has invested approximately NIS 2.2 billion ($607 million) in the last five years in East Jerusalem and has been “advancing urban renewal plans tailored to meet the needs of the local population.”

For now, Mashahra and his family in Jabal #Al-Mukaber are staying at his brother’s home, which sits directly behind the remnants of their destroyed house. But once his brother returns from a visit to the U.S., they will have to leave. His future, and that of his young children, remains uncertain.

“Right now, we’d be on the street, literally,” he said. ”If you are lucky enough to find a house, rent here is nearly one’s full salary. So what do we do?”

Israeli demolitions of Palestinian homes in Jerusalem hit new peak

In 2024, Israel destroyed 181 homes and approved the fewest Palestinian plans in a decade, while greenlighting thousands of settler units.

Deborah #Feldman relates the destiny of an interview with Nathan #Thrall and Die #Zeit, one of the influent German Newspapers who weaponize #antisemitism and a lot of other terms concerning Gaza, the Westbank and Palestinian Life under #occupation, #colonization, #martial law and #Apartheid, a 5 monte story:

« The Pulitzer Prize winning author of „A Day in the Life of Abed Salama“ came to #Germany
for a book tour last September, after the German edition had been released by tiny, brave Pendragon Verlag, once all the big names had passed for fear of antisemitism accusations. I had the honor of escorting Nathan Thrall on various stops throughout the country, moderating and translating the discussions with him. The audiences were enraptured, often moved to shuddering tears, deeply emotionally transformed by the experience. The press was invariable admiring, despite obvious hesitancy. And soon interviewers were running after Nathan to get his perspective in print. Front and center was Germany‘s most widely read neoliberal-bougie weekly Die Zeit. The reporter was eager to land the scoop. The interview was lengthy and juicy. There was just one problem. It wasn‘t published as promised. And when Nathan inquired as to why, pointing to the time and energy he had invested in good faith (an experience I myself had with Die Zeit in summer of 2023) he was simply ghosted. Only when I called the reporter and his paper out on x and instagram a few weeks later, did Nathan suddenly receive an email apologizing for the disappearance with a litany of thin excuses. But the story didn‘t end there, oh no, it went on for months, in which the editor wanted to keep tweaking at the article, unsatisfied with some of the more provocative answers. He even reframed the questions so he wouldn’t have to include some of the response material. He put pressure on Nathan to allow for various cuts, basically holding the interview hostage until he agreed. It was a long road. We had to put pressure on the guy on a daily basis near the end. Someone even slipped us his phone number so we could tighten the screws. And so, finally, finally, finally, after five whole months, we have an interview with Nathan Thrall in Germany‘s most widely read paper, where he tell it like it is in ways this country has tried everything to avoid. I’m posting some images of the highlights in English, the full German version can be found here:https://archive.ph/2025.02.12-144826/https://www.zeit.de/kultur/2025-02/nathan-thrall-autor-westjordanland-nahost/komplettansicht
