Today's motif for #WindowFriday is the old #cityhall in #Leipzig. Located on the east side of the #Messestadt market square, it is considered one of the most important secular buildings of the #Renaissance in #Germany with a very interesting (architectural) history. As a special feature, the asymmetrical facade of the town hall is orientated exactly to the #GoldenSection. The pictures show (un)symmetrical sections of the #facade.

Das heutige Motiv zum #Fensterfreitag ist das alte #Rathaus in #Leipzig. An der Ostseite des Marktes der #Messestadt gelegen, gilt es als einer der bedeutendsten Profanbauten der #Renaissance in D mit sehr interessanter (Bau)Geschichte. Als Besonderheit ist die unsymmetrische Fassade des Rathauses exakt am #GoldenenSchnitt orientiert. Die Bilder zeigen (un)symmetrische Ausschnitte der #Fassade.

Ehrung für den früheren #Thomaskantor und Organisten Günther Ramin: Anlässlich seines 125 Geburtstages wurde am Montag eine #Gedenktafel enthüllt.
Ramin hatte sich Zeit seines Lebens um die Pflege des Werkes von Johann Sebastian #Bach verdient gemacht.
