My unwavering optimism is evident in the fact that I already have the first open-source hardware for the Erich Mühsam Foundation network, without knowing where it will be installed. It is a 6 W firewall from Thomas Krenn and an open-source router from the OpenWRT community. It costs one-hundredth of an Apple device. It really belongs to you, but you need an IQ above 11. It's all great technology from my favorite companies: #ThomasKrenn (fileserver with @truenas), #Zyxel (all the networking gear, except the firewall - soooorry, that's @opnsense), and fs.com for all the DAC, fiber, transceivers, cable mgt, patch panels (keystone!), and patch cables 🙏😍

PS: the fileserver runs #TrueNAS Core at the moment. Wonder if switching to Scale makes sense and how well the migration works 🤔 Anyone experience?
