Today my new keyboard joined the family.
Akko ACR PRO 75 with Akko CS Crystal switches.
It's just to thoky that I'm crying for how good it sounds.
(I'm a tryharder addicted to overwatch... Even if it's a dead game)
My other keyboard is a pretty good one as well, Leopold fc980m pd. What do you prefer?

Not exactly Mail Day, but I was looking online for a new PCB for my #NK65 Milkshake (zapped mine through the USB somehow and killed it) and couldn't find one.
Instead I found someone selling a bare bones kit of the #Rama Kara Soya (with some well tuned #Durock stabs and a tape mod).
So I harvested the NK Silk Yellow switches from the NK65 and a Laser inspired keycaps set I had lying around.
Sounds so silky and yet still thocky, just the way I like it.
Just finished programming in all my MacOS macros and stuff. This is now my new Office #Keyboard

The soarers converter and the new foam came. Reassembly of the pcb and backplate with fresh plushy chonky foam was decidedly NOT FUN. Buuuuut…every. Key. Works. This treasure is now fully alive and working beautifully. 😍 Another massive thank you to the special person that knows who they are…and you said just hang it on the wall….pshhhh…

In this blog post we do a full teardown and build/glow up of the iconic IBM Model F keyboard. This heavy weapon (not kidding, it's like 10lbs) of a keyboard was a total workhorse from the early 80's, and persisted into the early 90's. It's heavy. It has a unique left mounted double function cluster. And it is, oh so very clicky and delicious. Let's dive into the Model F glow up!
