#ThinSectionThursday Here's some lovely zoned biotite crystals, slightly kinked and intertwined during magmatic transport and cooling, in this minette dyke rock from St Hellier in Jersey. Field of view about 2mm wide. Sample in the Hunterian collections, University of Glasgow.
