As a young boy, I explicitly opposed racism, homophobia, inequality between men and women, and the abuse of power by employers, the state, and religious institutions. I also spoke out against dictatorships and the drive toward war.
With a heavy heart, I must acknowledge that the social media platforms we use today do not support these values. Therefore, it is high time to send a clear signal that we no longer support such platforms. Let us turn instead to other, more democratic channels.
