#ThingThursday: I still have the first scissors I ever owned as a kid—probably because I got them quite young and was only allowed to use them with supervision. You can probably date them a bit since they are metal scissors 'for kids', and were made to last.

Just remembered there are 3 more marbles in my beach glass collection (a Martinelli Apple Juice bottle). The fact that they're in there means i found them on a beach. Most of this glass is from Lake Ontario. Never seem to find very much out here. #ThingThursday

it's #ThingThursday & i promised @[email protected] some nifty marbles after commenting on how the U of A 360 degree aurora cam reminds me of fancy marbles. i thought i'd try lighting them below with an LED lantern to see if they showed up any better, & had something interesting happen
