O humble sinners, let us now run in earnest * unto the Theotokos, and in repentance * fall down to her and cry out from the depths of our souls: * Show compassion unto us * and provide your assistance. * Hasten; we are perishing * in our many transgressions. * Turn not your servants empty-handed away; * for we have found you, O Lady, our only hope. #Theotokion #VirginMary #VirginMother
We the unworthy shall not ever be silent, * O Theotokos, from proclaiming your powers. * For were you not concerned to intercede for us, * who would have delivered us * from such manifold dangers, * and who else would up to now * have preserved us in freedom? * O Lady, we shall not depart from you, * for you ever save your servants * from evils of every kind. #Theotokion
O Theotokos, revealed through you to us on earth was the mystery, that was hidden for ages and unknown by the angels. God became incarnate, uniting natures without confusion, and for us He voluntarily accepted crucifixion, through which He resurrected the first-formed man, and He saved our souls from death.

We magnify you, O Theotokos, and salute you: Rejoice! You are the cloud of the never-setting light, for you held in your arms the Lord of glory. #Theotokion #babyJesus
Virgin Mother, past is all * that came to pass within the Law * and as a type like a shadow; * for without seed you have mothered * our God, the Giver of the Law, * for the redemption of mankind. * And therefore make me also strong * in the divine Law, for I am * overcome by the law of sin. #Hymn #Theotokion #ChristianPrayer

The hosts of heaven watched and shuddered horrified; * all things on earth beheld and quaked in utter fear, * when You were lifted on the Cross voluntarily, O sinless One. * Seeing this the sun went dark, and the moon was bereft of light. * Then your holy Mother wept in her grief ,and she cried aloud, * “This spectacle unfolding is shocking! * I marvel how You suffer for all, my Son.”

The holy Virgin, like a maiden heifer, watched * her Son, who took the place of a young bull for all, * as He submitted to the Passion and crucifixion willingly. * She cried out and said, “Alas! What an aberrant mystery! * How can You accept to die, being immortal, my Son and God! * O Logos, I extol Your forbearance * and glorify Your mercy, which is measureless.”

The all-immaculate and blameless Virgin cried * aloud to You, O Christ, “O my beloved Son, * now all creation celebrates in seeing You crucified, * for it is redeemed through You, O longsuffering Lord and God. * By the tree You remedied the condemnation incurred at the tree. * As for me, I am utterly shaken, * not bearing to watch You being put to death.”

Mother of Christ our God, all-blameless Virgin most pure, * as Symeon told, a sword pierced through your all-holy soul * when you saw your Son and God * crucified by transgressors of His own will, O Lady. * Cease not to importune Him, * that He grant the forgiveness * of failings to us your servants, * O only most-blessed one.

What shall we call you, O Lady full of grace? Heaven? For you gave rise to the Sun of righteousness. Paradise? For you blossomed the flower of incorruption. Virgin? For you remained incorrupt. Pure Mother? For you held in your holy embrace a Son who is the God of all. Entreat Him to save our souls.
