Today Momma Darlo and I went for a hot air balloon ride at the Telford Balloon Fiesta. It was a lot of fun, and I was surprised how quiet it was (except when the flame was on). Flying over Telford was interesting since I got to see a lot new views of familiar areas.

#20252025Challenge
Had dinner in a pub called the Wrekin Giant, so thought I'd draw that local legend. A Welsh giant called Gwendol went to destroy Shrewsbury with a giant spadeful of earth. In Wellington he asked a cobbler directions, but the cobbler showed him all of his damaged shoes saying that Shrewsbury was so far away he broke all the shoes coming from there. The giant then just dumped the earth where it was, giving up, and that earth became The Wrekin hill.
Or something like that.

4.5hrs nonstop walking from home and back mostly while listening to Rory Stewart's thought provoking book.Met a green party activist mate at the top and had a very healthy political discussion on the way down.
