'The City We Became' is a very enjoyable contemporary urban fantasy, in which N.K. Jemisin concludes her duology mapping good vs. evil onto tolerance/solidarity vs. the alt right. It's a lot of fun & very well written!

I just finished "The World We Make" by N.K. Jemisin. I really enjoyed it. It seemed apropos to the times. I also loved the first book "The City We Became"

Am Montag The World We Make (N. K. Jemisin) ausgelesen ... und wünsch mir immer noch, es ginge weiter. Obwohl ich verstehe, warum da das Ende ist. Seufz. Kennt ihr auch so Bücher, in denen ihr gern viel länger verweilen würdet, euch Fortsetzungen trotz einem guten, logischen Ende wünscht?

Just finished reading #TheWorldWeMake by #nkjemisin It was so good. The second book of her duology about cities coming to life, literally. It gets metaphysical, examines or current political climate (with little room for interpretation of how the author feels about it) and is just a damn good story.
