@MrLee this is the first time I've been able to read this due to the paywall. Thanks for sharing. A note to #smh - the Saturday Paper unblocked all their journalism about #TheVoice2023 from paywalls and these articles should be widely read.

I'm glad Savva has clearer sight then she used to and hope the noes can read a former colleague and stalwart without judgement but doubt it when so many other prominent conservatives haven't been able to shout above all the lies distortions and racism. Great piece, pity it's so accurate

The Voice to Parliament debate has been co-opted into a racism litmus test by mainstream media - No for "racist", Yes for "not racist". However, First Nations activists have been protesting and expressing their concerns on the covert, systemic racism of the Yes campaign; from the parallels to other well-meaning but harmful assimilation tactics throughout Australia's colonial history to the white guilt, saviourism and paternalism of prescribing a powerless Voice as the best/only choice for Indigneous people.
