Meine Freude an "The Ur-Quan Masters" wird noch dadurch verstärkt, dass niemand geringerer als Erol Otus (of D&D fame) beim Voice Acting mitgemacht hat. Leute, das Spiel ist gratis, zieht euch das mal! War bei mir in der Linux-Paketverwaltung. Gibt's aber auch von deren Website.

The first trailer and #Kickstarter announcement just dropped this morning for #FreeStars: Children of Infinity. This is going to be the proper sequel for #StarControl2: #TheUrQuanMasters by the original devs, they just can't call it #StarControl anymore since they don't own the trademark. This is my most anticipated game in development currently!
My dream of getting one of my favorite classic games, #StarControl 2, running on a handheld system has finally been achieved tonight, I managed to compile the sourceport #TheUrQuanMasters to a flatpak for steam deck using this recipe: https://github.com/rlac/flatpak-uqm
I did have to install flatpak-builder first following this guide and set up a bash alias for it: https://docs.flatpak.org/en/latest/first-build.html
