One of the reasons I watch C-drama is that I won't stumble upon Absolutely Not Christianity With A Paintjob Honest! religions. Of course, instead I have to put up with Absolutely Not Chinese Religion With A Paintjob, but that is usually easier.

I've seen this actor before (but of course I neither know his name nor remember the drama title). He wasn't half as expressive then, so I guess he's making the most of his chance here.
Our three xianxia st... nah - three Extremely Powerful Demons have set a magical array to send Xiao Yao [spoiler] to show her what the problem is. But, while there has been a lot of screaming and fingerpointing, they have never tried just telling her the story. The 'authors make your characters tal to each other (and still mess up)' challenge is incredibly hard.
This can't be good - we're at ep 32 and there's already a wedding. (Technically it's their second wedding, but the first one is mostly part of the backstory.) Is this a Neo Hou thing? In Back From the Brink he marries the fl thrice, and there's room for a third wedding here.
Another explanation could be that Hou picks romance dramas I actually want to watch - I'm not big on the genre so I don't know if this is common π€·π»ββοΈ
Lol! I was wrong! These are not Bad Guys! Without spoiling too much I can say they went from Looooming Threat to Xianxia Three Stooges so fast they almost broke the sound barrier!
I admit; I skipped frame by frame to catch the best version of these three 'dafuq?' faces. To be fair, it was an odd interruption of a perfectly good fight, so despite them being Bad Guys (tm) I'm on their side in this.

A female character, being controlled like a marionette by invisible threads, on her wedding day. Yet another example that 'subtle' means 'under tle' in C-drama land.
Ooooooh! It glitters!* Dibs on Hong Ye's demon king hanfu + H... Well, a _manequin_ shaped like Hou Minghao. I for sure can't carry that outfit and give it justice. But I am a big sucker for glitter so using it as decoration in my vast and completely fictional living room would do.

The Demon King has a humble and cosy home, don't you think? Smallish, rustic furniture, and he's probably recieving guests where he studies - that 'kΓΆkssoffa' he's sitting on is a telltale sign. The kΓΆkssoffa is a ~standardised item in Sweden; a firm, pew-like couch with storage, that you put in the kitchen. In origin it was placed at the wall closest to the entrance, so people who came to chat "for a few minutes" had somewhere to sit.
