There is no reason that any fan in 2025 doesn't understand the use of Native names & images is racist. Native dehumanization just takes a back seat to your entertainment.

1/2 I'll say it again: Chief White Calf was not the face of the redsk*ns.
The logo was designed by Blackfeet Walter "Blackie" Wetzel. According to his family it is based off the Buffalo Nickel & depicts Blackfeet Chief John "Two Guns" Whitecalf. Except that it doesn't.
Per the artist who created it, James Fraser, the coin doesn't depict a single person. It's a blend of 3 different men from 3 different tribes: Chief Iron Tail of the Sioux Tribe, Big Tree of Kiowa and Two Moons of Cheyenne. It has zero connection to the Blackfeet. It has zero connection to any tribe at all.
