Last night, I finished #ACOTAR.
I...look, I didn't hate the book.
Buy I'm not seeing the hype for the end of the first book. (spoiler discussion in next post)
It didn't get me excited to read the next one.
Instead, I cracked open #TheSunlitMan by #BrandonSanderson by recommendation from my boss('s boss's boss).
Immediately hooked. So far his best work, and I'm only a few chapters in, and I _loved_ #Mistborn.

I thought this was great. But DO NOT read this unless you're well versed in the #Cosmere.
With this, I'm now caught up with Cosmere books. Ready for #WindandTruth in December.
Finished THE SUNLIT MAN by Brandon Sanderson last night. It was very, very good. Might be my favorite of the secret projects.

#TheSunlitMan: I have mixed feelings about the final Secret Project. Nomad is an engaging character, and I love the open references to the Cosmere. But, while technically Nomad is not white, the book has a strong feeling of White Saviour about it.
The foreshadowing is very good and I really enjoyed the exploration of the magic system and how Nomad’s experience with other systems allowed him to understand it quickly without it feeling like he was cheating.
