I saw @AnnaAnthro ‘s post about the #CDrama The Starry Love (https://mastodon.social/@AnnaAnthro/113912944262227849), and thought it sounded fun… I ended up watching the first 16 episodes over the long weekend and am hellishly addicted 😅

It’s cool seeing Chen Xing Xu in another series after watching My Boss, but for me it’s Landy Li who steals the show - her performance is so much fun!

I’m finding the show a great mix of humour and drama so far. Available on Viki in Aus.

Only upside of being stuck in bed for 2 weeks with chest infection is time to watch more #cdrama. #TheStarryLove is outstanding - 2 intelligent female leads - comedy, action, angst, romance and lots of entertaining other characters. Best #xianxia since #LoveBetweenFairyAndDevil for me. In particular #ChenXingXu and #LandyLi make me laugh and cry. Also #CaoBo as snarky and long-suffering sidekick steals every scene he’s in for me.
