13yo will be auditioning in April for a spot in next school year's Musical Theater class.

For her audition, she must choose & prep two contrasting songs from the Golden Age of musicals.

She has chosen:

"My Favorite Things" from The Sound of Music &
"I Hate Men" from Kiss Me, Kate.

Yesterday she had her first coaching session with my dad, a retired opera singer.

This entire situation delights me beyond all reason. ☺️😍☺️🤩🤩🤩

My mother loved the Sound of Music, so naturally I hated it.

Laibach's treatment makes it feel more nostalgic for me for some reason.
