MIST-30/ONYX-TST

Mistigram: as we demonstrated one year ago, in Mist Classic days Onyx was a non-stop music tracking machine. In the meantime he’s been a tireless writer of SF ebooks. But recently he has taken up #painting, so for the new MIST-30 artpack we charged him with painting an homage to our first WHQ BBS 30 years ago, Nitnatsnoc’s #TheScreamingTomato.

Mistodon: as we demonstrated one year ago, in Mist Classic days Onyx was a non-stop music tracking machine. In the meantime he's been a tireless writer of SF ebooks. But recently he has taken up #painting, so for the new MIST-30 artpack we charged him with painting an homage to our first WHQ BBS 30 years ago, Nitnatsnoc's #TheScreamingTomato.
Mistodon: this crude block #ASCIIart promo Cthulu drew for #Mistigris' first WHQ BBS, #TheScreamingTomato, actually predates the establishment of Mist in the summer of 1994, and includes a great deal that is aspirational (and not necessarily ever actually achieved) in its list of affiliations and credentials. It was included in the foolish MIST0496 artpack collection of ... mis(t)steps and deliberately bad art.
Mistodon: the first bulletin board service, Ward Christensen and Randy Suess's CBBS, launched 45 years ago today. Sixteen years later came along Mistigris' first WHQ BBS, #TheScreamingTomato, run by SysOp Nitnatsnoc. This #ANSIart advertisement for it, featuring the Image Comics character #Pitt, was drawn by Mavrik and included in our debut MIST1094 artpack collection released 29 years ago.
Mistodon: this #newschool #asciiart logo for our original WHQ, #TheScreamingTomato, was drawn by Plastic as part of his magnificent spree in the Mistigris World Tour stop with the Blade Nation in the BLDE9612 artpack collection released 26 years ago this month.
