“Il nostro obiettivo è un mercato del lavoro che sia sempre più inclusivo e accessibile. L'accessibilità è la porta d'ingresso principale, eppure oggi ci scontriamo con una realtà pragmatica: molte aziende, specialmente quelle meno strutturate, faticano ancora a integrare lavoratori con disabilità, nonostante gli obblighi di legge”. Lo ha detto oggi a Verona, nell'ambito della manifestazione Fieristica LetExpo, Walter Rizzetto, Presidente della Commissione Lavoro alla Camera dei Deputati, partecipando al panel ‘Il ruolo di società, mondo del lavoro e terzo settore per costruire una vera inclusione', moderato da Massimo Giletti.
I motivi che ostacolano il raggiungimento dell'obiettivo esplicitato dal Deputato sono presto detti: “La verità è che persiste una resistenza culturale nell'inserire determinati contesti di fragilità all'interno del tessuto aziendale; tanto è vero che alcune realtà preferiscono ancora pagare le sanzioni piuttosto che assumere persone con disabilità o altre abilità”.
Come superare lo scoglio? Rizzetto risponde così: “La normativa recente ha innalzato il numero di assunzioni obbligatorie, ma dobbiamo concentrarci su quanto queste persone possano effettivamente dare: moltissimo - riflette - È innegabile che siano stati fatti passi importanti, specialmente nell'accelerazione delle politiche attive. Queste però non devono riguardare solo alcune categorie - conclude - ma l'intera platea dei lavoratori".

“Our goal is a labor market that is increasingly inclusive and accessible. Accessibility is the main gateway, yet today we are confronted with a pragmatic reality: many companies, especially those less structured, still struggle to integrate workers with disabilities, despite legal obligations.” This was said today in Verona, during the Fieristica LetExpo event, by Walter Rizzetto, President of the Employment Commission at the Chamber of Deputies, participating in the panel ‘The Role of Companies, the World of Work and the Third Sector to Build True Inclusion,’ moderated by Massimo Giletti.
The reasons hindering the achievement of the Deputy’s stated goal are soon revealed: “The truth is that there is still a cultural resistance to inserting certain fragile contexts within the corporate fabric; so much so that some realities still prefer to pay the fines rather than hiring people with disabilities or other skills.”
How to overcome this hurdle? Rizzetto responds as follows: “Recent legislation has increased the number of mandatory hires, but we must focus on what these people can actually contribute: a great deal – he reflects – It is undeniable that important steps have been taken, especially in the acceleration of active policies. However, these must not only concern certain categories – he concludes – but the entire workforce.”
