A Milestone in Poetry August 1, 1915
Just had to share this moment with you.
On this day in 1915, Robert Frostโs iconic poem โThe Road Not Takenโ was first published in The Atlantic Monthly.
More than a century later, its opening lines still echo in our hearts:
โTwo roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel bothโฆโ
Itโs a poem about choice, about paths and possibilities โ but also about how we tell the story of our lives. A gentle reminder, today and always, that sometimes the quietest decisions become the most meaningful.
Hereโs to the roads weโve takenโฆ and the ones we still might.
