Richard Kind Returning to 'The Producers' on London's West End

Richard Kind is returning to "The Producers," this time on London's West End.

Variety

Went to see the fantastic London production of The Producers on Friday with Andy Nyman (a fellow magic circle member) portraying Max Bialystock brilliantly.

Now I’m humming very inappropriate lyrics at work!

OMFG i had never noticed that when the german writer breaks out into the nazi anthem, and Leo tells him to stop cuz someone will hear him, he segues to Yankee Doodle Dandy. Mel Brooks really knew fascism.

There is a school of thought on that, made into another movie documentary by Mel Brooks before I was even born. (-:

In this Post-Stross Universe, where fiction is now the upper bound on how positive the future will be, we are watching the plot of #MelBrooks's 1967 movie _The Producers_ play out in real time.

The audience has yet to start laughing at #Amazon's cunning scheme to give a bung to #DonaldJTrump via a disastrous #Melania movie about the rise to power of a monarch and his consort.

Oh, look: it's "Springtime for Hitler" again. Mel Brooks should sue the Republican party.

Wild Speculation...

What if the guys who made the #AtlasShrugged #movies were trying to pull a "Springtime for Hitler" scam, like in #TheProducers, and succeeded because they didn't hire Lorenzo to play John Galt?

This theory assumes they were film-literate enough to have seen and understood The Producers, and is thus incompatible with the predominant theory that they simply did not understand enough to make a good movie based on #AynRand's already wild and unrealistic scifi fantasy plot.
