Last night I finally finished reading #TheOldGoatAndTheAlien and just now I've also finished reading the acknowledgements.

What a pleasant list of kind and delightful people to see myself included in. And I know there are kind and delightful people on that list of backers because I recognize several from around here

Thanks, all of you, for pitching in and letting this story be a thing.

And thank you, @vicorva for writing it

Take me down to Avari's home city, where the grass is flat and the goats are pretty! Oh won't you please take me hooooome 🎶 🎙️

I #amReading @vicorva ‘s #TheOldGoatAndTheAlien, and though it’s still early on I’m falling in love with the characters and world, from the dreamy descriptions of the fantastical scenery to the whimsical, lovable animals that populate this world. Yet the dynamics of this dreamy world are also amazingly relatable, including fraught family relations, neurodivergence, and bureaucracy! This is gearing up to be another unforgettable work of #CozyFantasy / #CozySFF from Veo and I can’t wait to read more.

I'm not the best pencil-artist, but luckily fanart is still fanart regardless of quality.

I had decided to sit down and practice my face drawing skills, and by sheer coincidence there was also a brand new book in my mailbox! So this drawing happened

Aaahhhh I got my electronic copy of @vicorva 's #TheOldGoatAndTheAlien and the cover came out so gorgeous wtf #amReading #bookstodon

(Image hidden for drawn eye contact: The cover of The Old Goat and the Alien by Veo Corva, showing a mountain goat with big curving horns and a pinkish-purple flame above its head sitting on a hillside with a brown-skinned human in colorful clothing. They both look relaxed, eyes bright and peaceful, while the violet sky behind them is streaked with silvery falling stars.)
