De Nederlandse wandelfilm The North staat op de shortlist voor de European Film Awards, oftewel de Europese Oscars. Dat heeft distributeur Gusto Entertainment dinsdag bekendgemaakt. De film maakt deel uit van een lijst van 67 Europese films die het afgelopen jaar zijn gemaakt en kans maken op prijzen bij de uitreiking, die eind januari in Berlijn plaatsvindt.
