Black Slate were a difficult band to understand - the crowd reaction at the end demonstrates that "Amigo" is *different* - but I think it's worth it. And we'd be richer if there were more songs like it though pop's history.
Here's some disposable pop from The Nolans. "Gotta pull yourself together" is somewhat forgotten, not unjustly.
