The New Pornographers - Electric Version

As was obvious from the start, you just can't go wrong with any New Pornographers album, as long as you like smart Power Pop.

In these early days, Dan Bejar was kind of a group member, although here a "secret" member...despite contributing four songs.

He's a good foil for Carl Newman, who tends to write densely literate songs, whereas Bejar kind of wild-mans it. In a good way.
