@jsit The only reason I've been holding off is that, as far as I've heard, every Blu-ray release has only the shortened version of the movie with "When Love Is Gone" cut. I heard that the original footage for that scene was discovered a little while ago so there was talk of releasing a new Blu-ray with the full movie, and as soon as I hear about that happening, I am definitely getting it, but until then I'm sticking with my DVD.
"Boy, that's scary stuff! Should we be worried about the kids in the audience?"
"Nah, it's all right. This is culture!"
Christmas Tradition sorted. I will be watching The Muppet Christmas Carol on Christmas Eve.
