NieAJust started a game I didn't even know existed until I discovered it while browsing a sale, intrigued by the unusual title: The Mildew Children.
I've barely begun playing, but I'm already into it. It seems to be primarily a horror-adjacent VN based on pagan folklore, with some light adventuring, and branching decisions while going through the dialogue. There are also "mini-games" at certain points where you have to give a response within a set time limit.
But I think I've already found my favorite character: a girl who wears a black robe and carries a scythe, and she has the ability to speak to the dead. Her name? Littlegrave. Because of course it would be.
