The Green Fields of France by The Men They Couldn't Hang, taken from the Peel Session recorded on 4 July 1984.
The Men They Couldn't Hang were another band that filled my post-metal years - I have all the albums from that period on CD - but for some reason I seemed to buy all their 12" singles - even I'm a little surprised that I have NINE of them (I also have 7" and CD singles)! The b-sides were a bit hit and miss and the extended mixes are invariably a mistake!
