Four absolutely essential 12 inches from 1983. From the top of my head and in the order in which they fell from the shelves. Some of the most instantly recognizable, anthemlike songs that I know of are featured on these ones, in addition to quite characteristic drum (machine) sounds.

Not sure what exactly is the point with all this, just needed something to do in this thoroughly caffeinated and hung over state in which I found myself on this Ascension Day. So thank you Jebus for ascending, I guess, thus allowing me an additional day off to use for this sort of busywork
