I watched a few episodes of #TheMadsAreBack recently and came away with a couple of thoughts:
1: As much as I enjoy the comedy of later #MST3K episodes and all of RiffTrax, I really love what Trace Beaulieu and Frank Conniff bring to TMAB.
2: As much as I enjoy the clean, midwest-flavored comedy of all MST3K episodes and the vast majority of RiffTrax, I really love that Trace and TV's Frank allow themselves to use salty language at will. It's really refreshing to hear adults being adults.
