Woke up to the news that #monkeypox is to be renamed to 'm-pox' in order not to offend and/or alarm the monkeys.

As far as I know, only a few monkeys have managed to learn rudimentary sign-language, so as long as we don't invent a hand sign for monkeypox we should be fine.
