TxDOT awards nearly $11M for a bridge unlocking access for The Loop Dallas

This will help fund a key segment of the Trinity Forest Spine Trail, connecting Southern Dallas communities to the 110-acre Parkdale Lake greenspace. This will fund a new 1,200-foot pedestrian bridge over the Union Pacific rail line—removing a long-standing barrier & creating safe, direct access for families, cyclists, & walkers across the region.

TxDOT installs new pedestrian bridge over US-75 🚴‍♂️ 🌉

The 201-foot, 800,000-pound arch will connect Dallas’ already existing bike and pedestrian trails, TXDOT said.

Nicknamed the "Low Five" by its fans because it connects five trails and it sits nearby, the prominent High Five Interchange.
