Cap. 6 Ellie, Joel (una relación disfuncional)
Empezamos con una introspección de la infancia de Joel, la mentira para cubrir, en este caso, defender a su hermano ante su padre por una falta ocurrida. Cada año celebra Joel el cumpleaños de Ellie y la relación parece prosperar. Las polillas dan identidad a Ellie en su etapa de transición a la etapa adulta, adolescencia rebelde desestabiliza a Joel. Joel lies to Gail showing me Eugene's body and saying that he shot himself, Ellie confronts Joel and tells Gail that it was him who shot him. In the last conversation between Ellie and Joel, she tries to assimilate everything that has happened and is surprised by Joel's selfishness in killing Jerry (he was working on the cure), which made Ellie not continue on this plane.
