@AnnaAnthro

Kim Jae Young was fabulous in "The Judge from Hell" as well.

Finished The Judge from Hell. I felt like it struggled a bit in the middle, but it picked up towards the end. Big points to CGI and overall VFX! I really liked the humanisation of Kang Bit Na as well, but also her demon identity remaining. #TheJudgeFromHell #KDrama

I get that she's gonna kill them anyways, but how does Kang Bit Na get away with giving zero consequences at all 🫥 #KDrama #TheJudgeFromHell | EP 6

I liked the characters, the actors, the costumes, and the humor. But I fast-forwarded through a lot of violence. Partly bc of squeamishness but partly because those parts (the “punishments”) felt boring.

I haven't seen Bloodhounds but the other 2 are fabulous!

Watching #TheJudgeFromHell #Kdrama
Finding it quite binge-able despite some very unpleasant violence in the first couple of episodes.
And omg the outfits! I see why it got some best costume votes in the end-of-year challenge 😛

The one issue I had was: what happened to the real Kang Bitna’s soul? It showed he escaping Hell, so I kinda expected her to show up, but nothing? Did she escape to heaven? Is she a ghost? Did she inhabit a dead body?

I binged The Judge From Hell so quickly - definitely worth the hype. Park Shin Hye was incredible, but everyone else did an amazing job as well. I loved the story, and was happy with the slightly open-ended ending. I only mark it down (slightly) because of one loose end I don’t think they tied up, but even so I’d give this a solid 9/10. Brutally violent in places, so not everyone’s cup of tea, but oh so good.

Day 24 - Favorite costumes of 2024?

This one is so easy!

As @sirsean mentions, the costumes for the other worldly beings in "The Judge from Hell" were amazing.

Beyond that, Park Shin Hye wore about 300 outfits in 12 episodes! Demons have better taste than CEOs!

In addition to being gorgeous, it was a running gag in the series, & the outfits often reflected emotions. Really great costuming!
