it's honestly kinda weird how Kaoruko was afraid of her friends being against her dream to be an OB-GYN. like, doctors are one of the most respected occupations in asia as a whole (and at least locally, it has extra prestige for earning a big salary).

i knew someone in high school who wanted to go into med school too, and all i thought was, "wow, they're hardcore, good luck to them".

the only time i would actually think otherwise is if the person in question was a scumbag (which was my narcissistic roommate in uni), because that kind of person being a doctor is going to cause so much harm, but it's also not something i would voice to their face since we were on bad terms by that point.
