In Montreal, I saw a cabaret venue with the BEST NAME EVER.

#TheFabledCanadas (a couple weeks ago): Food highlights.

I got to visit the famous Schwartz's Deli (open for almost 100 years, and was the subject of a musical!) and got to try their delicious smoked meat sandwich. The next night, I got my poutine fix. I fell in love with a cafe called La Cave A Manger, which had the amazing hot chocolate I posted about previously and also the best ham sandwich I've ever had. And on my final night, I had a very pretty pineapple coconut mocktail.

Last week's Adventures In The Fabled Canadas included a delicious beaver tail (fried dough dusted in cinnamon and sugar, with a squeeze of lemon)! #TheFabledCanadas

I stopped at Librarie Argo Bookshop in #Montreal last week and was delighted to find Queer Rites on their metaphysical shelf! I signed it, so if it hasn't been purchased yet and you're in the area, go get it!

Argo is a gorgeous store with a beautifully curated collection. They specialize in books on linguistics and Japan, as well as books on marginalized groups and by marginalized authors, including books on race, gender, and queer issues.
