A recent report by 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘺𝘸𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 announced that Sony Pictures has made a deal with producer Joel Silver and director Shane Black to produce a film based on Don Pendleton‘s 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘹𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘳.

This has been my favourite Sonny Chiba movie so far.. though only by a slight margin. While more of an ensemble showing, and geared more to comedy than the action, it is certainly still the kind of fun you expect to see. Can only imagine seeing this in a Grindhouse theatre in the '70s..
